Like any event that takes place in the city there are organizers that work hard to recruit new events to the area. Check the Friends of Oklahoma page on Facebook. Anyone wanting to attend will need to register with the rally with the fee of only $40. Reynolds Center day and evening events are planned. Day two and three will be at the Donald W. The Poteau Main Street Group will be selling soft drinks and beer for the night. Smokin Pig BBQ will be serving food on the street and Warehouse Willy’s will be open and serving the large crowd. The public is welcome to join us for a party and food in the streets. Thursday’s activities will kick off with The College Band Heroes.

The Rally will kick off October 8th with a guided parade at 5:30 and will be guided by The Poteau Police Department down Broadway North and the Bypass South to McKenna at Carl Albert State College and back to Dewey on Main street for a night of live music, food and dancing in the streets. The groups will then return to the DWRCC for concerts Friday and Saturday Night. Reynolds Center will be the head quarters for the three-day event and the city, county and surrounding communities will be buzzing with business as the groups will leave out each morning to ride over 100 miles stopping at destinations specified on each route. This will be the third time the group has chosen Poteau for the sight of the huge rally. (Poteau Oklahoma) – Poteau Chamber and The City are gearing up for a three-day event beginning Thursday- October 8th and will continue through October 10th.
