I'm not sure, but in many mods, the quality of 'Tools' also effects the build speed of a 'Fortified Camp.' You may wish to see if that is true for vanilla. But, it doesn't matter.)Īlso, as King, if you wish to move your court (Capital) from one fief to another, perhaps one that is more centrally located or protected, you will need to gather certain trade goods. (There's a bug that prevents the quality of the gathered items from actually effecting the results of the feast. It's been awhile since I played 'Vanilla' Mount and Blade: Warband. If you don't have VC, then I'm not sure what the issue is, there. That's likely the Viking Conquest mod and probably an issue with it. I don't know how you can build those things if the fief doesn't belong to you. But, you can create your own faction and you can style your units after any existing faction, if you wish. You can't become a King over an existing faction.
